"I believe that we the people will eventually see the criminality of the Obama administration and eventually stop them one way or another, so I have eternal faith in my fellow man," he says. "I can't believe this experiment in self-government is over. I can't believe the documents our founding fathers clearly articulated and wrote are going to be abandoned for tyranny and slavery, and that's really what Obama represents. He represents that 'you people are so stupid and inept, I'll have to cover you.' I just don't believe that's true."

What just kills me is that blacks/illegals/bums/other all make comments similar to the following:

'blacks need to ..."seize their own destinies"...; CERTAINTLY NOT Nugent's and his 'band' of regurgitators who can't think for his/her self!'

And yet, their idea of "seizing their own destiny" is to have me pay for it...

Ted Nugent also says that it's a crazed gyration of the rock generation that's my motivation to avoid the nauseation frustration when I need some lubrication - Baby!, rapudel the butel.

If the government didn't force us to pay for blacks, illegal aliens, drug addicts, and other people whose problems are caused mainly by their own willingness to just keep reproducing irresponsibly, we could afford to help the people we WANT to help.

Isn't that what freedom and personal responsibility is all about? The right to choose your own actions and their concomitant consequences?

I mean, I didn't WANT to pay for any kids, that's why I don't have them... why should I pay for somebody ELSE'S kids?

Unfortunately, at this point we have no choice but to have a government. We're kinda stuck with that. And, given the nature of human institutions and humans, nothing we do ever works just as we wish it would. So, we have the choice of helping the bums and theives along with the people we want to help, or just having no social programs at all. Corruption is inevitable in human institutions.

Apparently, lots of people would rather just let everyone who needs help starve, rather than taking the risk of helping someone who doesn't need or "deserve" it. Kind of like it being better to lock up and/or kill a thousand innocent people than to let one guilty person go free.

Oh, and Ted Nugent has obviously become just another militia-type Republican/neocon loudmouth. Sure, he's got the cash to actually put his money where his mouth is, and "live the dream", but that doesn't make him right. I don't remember him bitching when Bushco was shredding the Constitution willy-nilly, with transparent "reasons" that did nothing but show how willing they were to take advantage of the people who were most willing to give up freedom for security - you know, the ones Nugent supposedly has the most disdain for. Now that it's a Democrat in charge, the government is evil and just can't seem to do anything right. Bullshit.

The problem is in the fact that most of the things you are saying are merely hyperbole, and not actually sound or based in facts of any kind. They are politically and emotionally charged, but not "truth".

For instance, you say "people would rather just let everyone who needs help starve". This is based on the notion that people who "need" help aren't completely responsible for their own situation. Almost always, they ARE responsible, and they could just as easily change the behavior that leads to their misery, but won't. Why would they change their behavior when I'm forced to subsidize it against my will?

You also said "nothing we do ever works just as we wish it would". That's not true. Most of the things I try to do, with hard work and perseverance, work out. Often, I have to overcome obstacles put there by the Government. I remember laughing one day when you used the term "Laissez-faire" the way liberals usually do: meaning "status quo", or "business as usual", when in fact, most people don't realize the term originally meant "stay out of our business". It was rumored that the when France fell onto economic hard times, the King asked the community how he could help. The businessmen answered "Laissez-faire", meaning, literally, "get the hell off our necks", or something similar. They knew the best way for the economy to work as planned was with the least amount of government interference because governments NEVER contribute to an economy, they subtract value - NOT add value. It costs big money to run even a small government.

Your comment about prisons is also untrue, at least in my case. As a libertarian, most people in prison aren't guilty of anything that wasn't a consensual act, and therefore I'd let every single one of them go free. Only violent offenders and others who injured would remain harshly incarcerated. There will be no more thought crimes if I am king.

Furthermore, contrary to your supposition, for the most part nobody wants to let the blind, old, infirm, or ill starve or suffer. But contrary to the explosive nonsense on TV, almost every one of them already has care if they seek it. In fact, EVERYONE, legal or otherwise, has emergency care in this country. Thus, what Obammy is doing is forcing us to subsdidize bad behaviors. And even that is based on "pop" science deliberately interpreted with a liberal agenda to promote the chosen few.

Bush sucked too. I complained about him constantly as well. In fact, the only government that doesn't suck is the smallest possible one. Having NO social programs suits me fine, and if you do your research you'll see that things were *MUCH* better before welfare, medicare, medicaid, social security, and other scam programs like that.

Finally, there's certainly nothing wrong with "militia-types". They may very well be our last line of defense when the government takes its next step at controlling our lives... whatever that next step is, it's a step too far for many of us. Indeed, for some of us, Government has already crossed the line.

The difference between freedom and oppression? With freedom, if you want to live your life your way, you may. With oppression, you must comply with the majority. I want to be free. I am not asking for anything from anyone except to be left alone. It's okay for people to ASK me for something. It's NOT okay to take it from me without my permission. Especially when you are using it to subsidize something I abhor: communist agendas that promote bad behavior in the name of science while simultaneously stifling academia and TRUE science.

You don't *REALLY* think Obammy is some angel doing the RIGHT thing do you? NO! We have merely sunk to a level of depravity so low it's difficult to conceive. Face reality.
