A cool video and a cool song. In combination, they're beyond cool - they're Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

These guys have some really cool music. Some other great videos on youtube, as well. I really like the one for 'Around The World'. I mean, it's got swimming girls, robot spacemen, weird two-story breakdancing guys - everything but zombies. But it DOES have skeletons.
And if you like rock, here they are playing a song called Robot Rock, which is even better live.

Anybody been listening to any Buckcherry?

Uh, let's take a closer look at THIS version:

The perfect woman. TWO COPIES.

Snark aside, that's pretty cool. I love how the one on the right starts grooving and forgets to act like a robot.

Posted by mrwilder

Well, yes. I love that too. Also, I love how the one on the left starts grooving.

Okay, in case you didn't see this one yet, here's a couple drunk chicks attempting it.

Oh, I forgot to say that if you stare at the one on the left's navel, you will see The Buddha.

That's in the case of the first video, which link you posted. I'm pretty sure this is the case, it's worked for me a number of times now.

HAHA. No, but I prefer this one, where the dancer clearly is anything but drunk:

Indeed, she is using pure power as it flows directly from the source to express her joy, and her ruthlessness and boldness have obviously allowed her to reach a state of excellent clarity, the opposite of the drunkenness of daily life. And here we can see that yes, it is possible to flow and be one with the way in anything and everything we do, including dancing to Daft Punk. Of course, she's also obviously highly talented and extremely sexy.

Also, there's this one, where the guy goes chipmunk fishing:

I just want to keep this page on the front for awhile, for my own convenience.

Indeed.

I say indeed sir, and in fact I repost this link for my personal self since I watch it all the time any way.

Yes, that's another good one.

Oops, it fell off again.

I've been meaning to ask you, wilder, whether you think those keyboard samples used in 'Robot Rock' were made by an Oberheim. It sounds to me like it could have. The sample is from a song called 'Release The Beast' by a band called Breakwater. It came out in 1980. Was the OB8 around then?

Oh, Here's the Breakwater song:

The Oberheim OB-8 came out in 1983 and was discontinued in 1985.

Wow, only sold for 2 years? I had no idea. Thanks.
Posted by mrwilder

Yeah, me neither, especially since Eddie Van Halen got his so long after I did.

Whatever.

Okay, I'm just gonna go ahead and imbed these here.
